Last Weekend I Made a Breakthrough!

I did it. I had a breakthrough. Something I had hoped to accomplish for about two years. Unfortunately, it wasn't genealogical, but in the nature of home improvement. I tiled my backsplash. By myself. And used a chop saw. Well, a compound miter saw, although there was no mitering involved.

And I can cross it off my to-do list. Its one of the things that has been niggling at me since I saw these tiles on D-I-Y Network's I Want That! Actually, I started Thursday evening, finished Friday evening and put it back together on Saturday, after I recuperated.
